Milty, a cat from Almost Home Adoptions
in Westminster, took the flight home on
Friday to Missoula, Montana. Almost Home
Adoptions is a shelter for rescued cats,
where Milty has been living for the past
couple months. Milty had been hanging
around, sleeping on a big yellow bathmat and
just enjoying the attention from lots of
people. He came in to the shelter looking a
little ragged and a lot hungry. He had
settled in and was going to be the first cat
from the shelter to be listed on YourHub.com
as pet of the week this week.
All the cats and kittens that are
available for adoption are also listed on
Petfinder.com, so they have a better chance
of finding a forever home. A young girl in
Missoula was surfing the web hoping to find
the cherished family cat that ran away when
they were in the process of moving to
Montana several months ago. As fate would
have it she ran across Milty, listed for
adoption at Almost Home Adoptions. She gets
mom to call the adoption center and sure
enough it sounds like the family cat Milo.
Friday arrive and Dad flies to Colorado to
pick up Milty and take him home. Milty was
born in Idaho and left in a bag with his
siblings by someone who didn't want them. He
was rescued and became part of a family, who
eventually moved to Colorado.
This is one lucky cat, and it shows what
the power of love can do.
